How do I book for events?

All orders must be paid 100% up front to secure the booking.
We do not hold dates, due to the significant number of enquires we receive daily.
Do you offer refunds?
If your order is cancelled more than three months out from the event, we will issue a 50% refund.
Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds for cancellations within three months of the event, only date changes if we are told well in advance and have the availability.

Do you have menus/what food is included?
Yes, please find these on the menu page.

Dietary requirements and allergies

How do you deal with dietary requirements or allergies?
Please let us know if you or any of your guests have any dietary requirements or allergies well in advance and we will cater accordingly.

Can you cater for vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten-free/halal etc…?
Of course we do, just let us know.
How does the food keep fresh and cool?
We keep all food cool during travel to the location/venue.
Table/s must be provided in a cool area away from direct sunlight.
Food on the grazing table can be left out for 4 hours, and then must be disposed of.
How far will you travel and how much do you charge? (larger events)
We are an Angus based company. Travel costs are worked out on mileage from us at 45p per mile.
We can travel as far as four hours for certain bookings. Of course, it would not make sense to travel two hours for a platter delivery, so we will consider each enquiry on a case-by-case basis!

Do you provide tables for larger events?
A suitable table must be provided at the venue. We do not provide tables (yet!)

How long do you need to set up the table?
We can take anything up to 1-3 hrs to get your table ready for your guests, depending on the length booked.
Do you supply plates, cutlery and napkins?
We do not supply plates, cutlery or napkins, however we can price this separately if you require this. We have provided wooden cutlery, bamboo plates and white paper napkins in the past.

Do you dispose of the left over food after the event?
We love platters are not responsible for the removal and disposal of food waste post-event.
We do offer a ‘clean up service’- once your guests have had their fill, we will return within 4 hours to clean up the grazing table (bin bags are to be disposed of by the client/venue).

Do you require parking on-site?
We require parking at site to unload the food coolers and equipment. If there is no or limited parking, please let us know immediately and we will try and find a solution.

Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are fully insured. We also have current food hygiene and health and safety training requirements. We pride ourselves on having the best standards, ensuring the best produce & food handling.

Will you use images on we love platters social media?
Yes, unless our clients/customers explicitly ask us not to use images taken at their event, we will use them on our social media platforms.
